Pennsauken Country Club is an 18 hole semi-private golf course located in Pennsauken, New Jersey.
The Pennsauken Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1930. The course is built on fairly flat terrain and features water hazards that come into play on nine holes. In fact, their web site says, "the flat and fairly straight layout offers great opportunity for medium to high handicappers to make par."
Locals claim that hole #7, a 228-yard, par 3, is one of the most difficult holes in New Jersey. This is interesting because #7 is ranked 4th hardest of the 18 holes on Pennsauken score card.
The course is a par 70 and plays to 5,959 yards from the blue tees, 5,673 yards from the white tees and 4,926 yards from the red tee boxes. The longest hole on the course is the 508 yard par-5 #8 hole.

Pennsauken CC is absolutely one of the best values in the South Jersey area. The course is always in immaculate condition, I live nearby and have never had any issues with the couse conditions. Greens are usually fair speeds and puts break slightly on most. The addition of a new pond on the closing holes really sets the course off and makes for an interesting closing stretch. The rough is usually challenging, but fair. Good shots are rewarded, bad ones, punished. For the moderate price, the course cannot be beat. It is not as long as many others in the area, and doesn't have a range to warm up on, but you can chip and putt to warm up. Good food and facilities also.

Good course for mid to high handicapper; challenging enough that you can't just hit it wherever it goes but you can play from off the fairway.

I have been a member for 3 years and I have very little to say in a negative way.Just one thing and that is what will keep me from joining again. They have much too many outings and when you want to play there seems to be and outing and you have to go to another course and pay regular price of course. Last year I had to go to another course because of this about 14 times. when you add up the numbers it is better just to save your membership money and use it to play the courses you what weather it be there course or one of the other 14 times I had to go to another course. Other than that it is a very good course.
